Due to a clerical error in the original Protected Action Ballot, a supplementary ballot will be issued on Monday, 13 July. Both ballots still need to be completed — voting in the supplementary ballot doesn't replace your vote in the original; it sits alongside it.
If you've already voted in the original ballot, that vote still stands. You now also need to complete this supplementary ballot for your voice to count in full.
The supplementary ballot timetable:
That's a shorter window than the original, and it closes at the same time. If you haven't voted in the original ballot yet, do both while you're at it.
Members are encouraged to vote yes to all of the actions. We may not need to take them — but if we do, we can.
Only union members can vote and take protected action. If you've got a colleague who isn't a member yet, this is the moment to have that conversation. If they join before the ballot closes, they can still vote.
We'll let you know the moment both ballots are closed and counted.
